Thank you for your generous contributions during #GivingTuesday. Together, you helped us raise over $1,600 for our students! We are grateful that you chose to give to the Quinebaug Valley Community College Foundation on this day.  Special thanks to Michael and Carlee Drummer for matching these donations. This was a wonderful way to kick-off the charitable giving season.

The Foundation is a 501c3 organization established in 1971 to involve area business leaders and community members in the college’s fundraising efforts. Our mission remains steadfast…to raise funds so all residents of northeast Connecticut have the opportunity to attend QVCC regardless of income and to support educational excellence, technological advancement, and professional development at the College. The Foundation also serves as the Regional Advisory Council to the College.

Thanks to the support of hundreds of individuals and businesses, the QVCC Foundation provides over $210,000 to local students annually:

  • $135,000 in scholarships to credit students
  • $35,000 in financial aid grants to students in need
  • $35,000 in grants for continuing education students
  • $10,000 in funds for programs such as Visions in Leadership and Perspectives

Check out our 2015-2016 Annual Report recognizing the donors who make this possible. Happy Reading!
