TackleWINTER  and Warm Up at Watercure!
Thursday, February 17, 2022
at Watercure Farm Distillery (426 Mashamoquet Rd, Pomfret Center, CT 06259). Join Tackle the Trail and special guest Eric Kapitulik, founder and president of The PROGRAM, for cold weather running tips and a short “Platoon PT” at Watercure Farm Distillery. Then warm up with a free cocktail post run/workout.
4:30pm – Eric Kapitulik, founder and president of The PROGRAM, will share cold weather running tips and lead us in a short “Platoon PT” at Watercure Farm Distillery in Pomfret, CT.

2022 QVCC Foundation Scholarship Night
On Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 5pm the QVCC Foundation will proudly award over $130,000 in scholarhsips to student recipients at the QVCC Richard C. Berry Amphitheater. Join the Foundation for an evening celebrating students and the generosity of the Northeastern CT community.

Donuts for Donations
The 2022 Donuts for Donations will take place on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 6-9am at WINY Radio in Putnam. Enjoy free Baker’s Dozen coffee and donuts in exchange for a donation to the Foundation. Can’t make it to WINY? Stop by any Baker’s Dozen location and make a contribution! 100% of funds raised will support students at QVCC!

Sneakerama Fun Run & Block Party
Calling all runners, joggers and woggers! Join the QVCC Foundation on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Sneakerama in Worcester, MA for a free Fun Run and Block Party! The event kicks off with a 6:30pm Fun Run followed by festivities! Enjoy music, vendors, adult beverages from 2022 Brews Sponsor Michelob ULTRA, and AWESOME give-a-ways!

TackleSUMMER & Cool Off at Watercure
Join Tackle the Trail on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 5pm for hot weather running tips and a short workout at Watercure Farm Distillery in Pomfret, CT. Then cool off with a free cocktail post run/workout.

Dust off your clubs! The QVCC Foundation will celebrate our 30th Annual Golf Tournament on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Connecticut National Golf Club in Putnam, CT! Tackle the Trail™ Always the 3rd Saturday in October!  
Marathon – Half Marathon – Relay Teams.  On Saturday, October 15, 2022, individuals and up to 5 person relay teams will enjoy the quiet solitude of nature with bursts of energetic and supportive volunteers at 4 relay stations throughout the 26.2 mile point to point race which starts in Windham and ends in Putnam, CT. Other highlights include; Great prizes, SWAG and the most important part…knowing that proceeds help local students attend Quinebaug Valley Community College! Learn more and sign up at
