QVCC Foundation Scholarships

The scholarship application period runs from February 1 – mid March each year. All students are encouraged to apply, including:

  • New, Returning, or Transferring
  • Self-pay or Financial Aid
  • PACT (PACT = Pledge to Advance Connecticut – AKA Free tuition)
  • Full Time or Part Time (enrolled in two or more classes)
  • Most scholarships required a GPA of 3.0 or higher (select scholarships are available to students with lower GPA scores)
  • Scholarship applicants are strongly encouraged to carefully review individual scholarship criteria

*NOTE – All supporting documents must be submitted in ONE packet at the Office of Student Development, Room E233 at QVCC’s Danielson Campus – NO LATER THAN 4PM

Willimantic students may submit packets at Winthrop Hall (ECSU) Monday through Thursday 9:00 – 7:00 pm and Fridays 9:00 – noon, and Windham Tech’s Library Monday through Thursday 4-8 pm.

STEP 3: TRANSCRIPTS

Official transcript are needed. Current students can access through MyCommNet. High School students should submit their in-progress transcripts.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

-All military applicants must provide their DD214.
-All art scholarship applicants must provide a portfolio to be turned in by March 10.

Scholarships are available to students attending QVCC (home campus) in the 2023-2024 academic year. All students are encouraged to apply, including:

Scholarship applicants are screened by an impartial committee from the QVCC Foundation. Scholarships awards are presented at the QVCC Foundation Scholarship Night on Wednesday, May 3 at 5:00 pm (Rain Date May 4). Recipients are notified in advance of the ceremony and are required to attend to receive their awards.
