Chemical Safety: This workshop will deepen the understanding employees have of the chemicals in the workplace and what to do in case of a spill. This will begin with an overview of the general components of a safety data sheet and types of PPE used for materials handling. The participants will then be engaged in an interactive exercise of identifying major components of common materials and the PPE needed in spill clean-up.
Coaching & Mentoring: The Coaching And Mentoring course focuses on how to better coach your employees to higher performance. Coaching is a process of relationship building and setting goals. How well you coach is related directly to how well you are able to foster a great working relationship with your employees through understanding them and strategic goal setting.
Communication in the workplace: Strong writing skills are essential for effective communication. In business, purposeful writing will convey relevant information in a clear, concise, and effective manner. This course would include a review of writing mechanics – Writing clearly, Writing concisely, Writing correctly. Participants will also review best practices for editing and proofreading. The workshop will then cover business email components such as formatting (subject line, formal greeting, body copy, closing phrase, and signature), tone/voice, when to reply all, understanding privacy parameters, and managing attachments.

Conflict Resolution: This course will give participants a seven-step conflict resolution process that they can use and modify to resolve conflict disputes of any size. Your participants will also be provided a set of skills in solution building and finding common ground. Participants will learn crucial conflict management skills, including dealing with anger and using the Agreement Frame. Workshop objectives include understand what conflict and conflict resolution mean; understand all six phases of the conflict resolution process; understand the five main styles of conflict resolution; be able to adapt the process for all types of conflicts; be able to break out parts of the process and use those tools to prevent conflict; and be able to use basic communication tools, such as the agreement frame and open questions.
Delivering Constructive Criticism: Delivering Constructive Criticism is one of the most challenging things for anyone. Through this workshop your participants will gain valuable knowledge and skills that will assist them with this challenging task. Constructive Criticism if done correctly will provide great benefits to your organization. It provides the ability for management to nullify problematic behaviors and develop well rounded and productive employees. Workshop objectives include understand when feedback should take place; learn how to prepare and plan to deliver constructive criticism; determine the appropriate atmosphere in which it should take place; identify the proper steps to be taken during the session; and know how emotions and certain actions can negatively impact the effects of the session.
Fundamentals of Project Management: In the past few decades, organizations have discovered something incredible: principles that have been used to create enormous successes in large projects can be applied to projects of any size to create amazing success. As a result, many employees are expected to understand project management techniques and how to apply them to projects of any size. This workshop will give participants an overview of the entire project management process, as well as key project management tools that they can use every day.
Manufacturing Blueprint Reading: This course introduces the basic principles of blueprint reading. Topics include line types, orthographic projections, dimensioning and tolerancing methods, and notes. Upon successful completion you should be able to interpret basic blueprints, calculate necessary dimensions and visualize the features of a part.
Quality in a Manufacturing Environment: This 2- hour workshop introduces concepts of quality and why quality matters in a production setting. Topics include understanding your customer, Kaizen (continuous improvement), Waste Minimization, 5S, Cycle Time Reduction, and Collaboration. Students will understand the fundamental concepts associated with Lean Manufacturing and its methods of implementation.
Shop Math: This workshop delivered to production team members includes an initial evaluation exercise to determine student competency levels. Course topics include decimals and percentages. Students will understand the concepts associated with mathematical operations using the metric system and conversions between metric and imperial unit and the concepts associated with mathematical operations in determining cycle times in a manufacturing environment.
Supervising Others: Supervising others can be a tough job. Between managing your own time and projects, helping your team members solve problems and complete tasks, and helping other supervisors, your day can fill up before you know it. The Supervising Others workshop will help supervisors become more efficient and will focus on delegating, managing time, setting goals and expectations (for themselves and others), providing feedback, and resolving conflict. We will also cover tips on how to move from peer to supervisor!
Supply Chain Management: Supply Chain Management improves the coordination and relationship between suppliers, producers, and customers. It must be kept at a high level of organization to be successful in today’s global economy. Goods and services are now pieced together from all over the world, and this process can be hectic and complicated if not managed correctly. Understanding Supply Chain Management concepts will help your company and employees to be on target to lower costs, improve efficiency, and increase customer satisfaction. This course will provide your employees with the understanding of how Supply Chain Management can improve and help almost any type of business.
Team Building: With our Team Building For Managers workshop, your participants will learn how important team building is and how beneficial it can be. Through this workshop, your participants will gain a new perspective on teamwork, and become a valuable member to any team they are placed in. Follow the information in this workshop and create a positive atmosphere within your company with the use of teams. Workshop objectives include discuss the benefits of team work, understand the importance of intentionally fostering understand the benefits of games and social activities in building
Train the Trainer: Develop the skills of your experienced employees with the Train-the-Trainer workshop. This four – six-hour program will provide essential tools that support your training employees to deliver content in a thoughtful and engaging manner. Participants will leave with new training capabilities and a deeper understanding of how to transfer skills, knowledge, and attitudes via effective training. Training topics include an overview of how adults learn, understanding and meeting training objectives, understanding learning styles, following instructional guides for training, methods of asking questions, and how to communicate training challenges.
