Just Performance Fitness – “BEST OF NORWICH, Fitness Facility”
Joshua Pratt – “BEST OF NORWICH, Personal Trainer”
Joshua Pratt – “BEST OF NORTHEAST CT, Personal Trainer”
Josh Pratt enrolled into QVCC after an injury that led him to a learning disability.
“I had to start off slow. I needed small class sizes and professors who could really focus on my learning. QVCC did just that for me.”
Pratt finished his degree within two years from QVCC and gives great thanks to his professors, who refocused were he wanted to go and what he wanted to achieve in his life. After graduating with his Associates in Liberal Arts and Sciences, Pratt went on to intern at a very competitive Human Performance Lab at UCONN. The program only accepts about 10-14 students per year and Josh was 1 of 13 in his major field. He received his bachelors in Strength and Conditioning and the rest is history.
Not long after Pratt graduated he decided to open up his own training facility in his community.
“My goal was to open a Fitness Facility that met the needs of everyone from your general gym user to professional athletes. I wanted my gym to be a one-stop Fitness Shop.”
Josh started to create business plans and floor plans and opened his gym in 2012 in Moosup, CT. He named the gym, Just Performance Fitness because of his personal initials “JP.”
Just Performance Fitness is an outstanding facility that currently has about 230 members and is continuing to grow daily. Pratt states that his drive and goal for the gym is to give people the ability to do whatever they would like to achieve their fitness goals in a positive atmosphere. “I love seeing my gym members reach their goals, it gives them a sense of empowerment and I enjoy sharing those moments with my members.”
Just Performance Fitness is located in Danielson, CT. It is the ONLY gym in the area that will offer; average gym equipment, powerlifting, CrossFit, ninja warrior equipment, strongman training, and more!
“The biggest thing standing in the way of you and your goals is your mindset. The key to success is changing your mindset to realize that nothing great will ever come easy or without challenge: Get comfortable being uncomfortable.”
