Microsoft Applications

Word Basics (TRAD): Gain a basic understanding of Microsoft Word in this 6-hour course that utilizes Office 365. Students will learn the basic features of Microsoft Word, including navigating the software ribbons, creating, saving, and editing basic documents including letters, flyers and reports.  Students should have some fundamental keyboarding skills.

Word Beyond Basics (TRAD): Take a deeper dive into Microsoft Word in this 6-hour course.  Students will learn intermediate-level features of Microsoft Word, including creating tables, mail merges, and templates.

Excel Basics (TRAD): Gain a basic understanding of Microsoft Excel in this 6-hour course that utilizes Office 365. Excel Beyond Basics (TRAD): Explore Excel’s intermediate-level features in this 6-hour course. Students will create and work with charts, functions, conditional formatting, and sorting. The course will also focus on tips and tricks to ensure your spreadsheet looks great for that next meeting or presentation.

Sales Training

Sales Fundamentals (TRAD): Although the definition of a sale is simple enough, the process of turning someone into a buyer can be very complex. It requires you to convince someone with a potential interest that there is something for them in making their interest concrete – something that merits spending some of their hard-earned money. The Sales Fundamentals workshop will give participants a basic sales process, plus some basic sales tools, that they can use to seal the deal, no matter what the size of the sale. Your participants will become more confident, handle objections, and learning how to be a great closer.

Top 10 Sales Secrets (TRAD): No one is born a sales person.  No one has a special gift that makes customers buy products/services.  Everyone can however, learn how to sell successfully.  By learning to communicate with customers, build lead lists, and sell the company’s services with authority, anyone can be a successful sales person. With our “Top 10 Sales Secrets” workshop, your participants will discover the specifics of how to develop the traits that will make them successful sales people and how to build positive, long lasting relationships with their customers!

Internal Auditor Training – ISO 9001:2015 (TRAD): This 18-hour workshop prepares you to perform internal audits for an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management and Quality Assurance System. Participants will learn accepted guidelines for conducting internal audits, review the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard, practice preparing for an ISO audit using a case study; prepare an onsite audit, and performing an internal quality audit. The internal quality audit can be done for a participant firm or a local manufacturing facility.

Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis (TRAD): This 14-hour workshop introduces students to basic quality principles, problem solving, process improvement methodologies, and the basic quality tools used in manufacturing. Short lectures will be combined with small group exercises to develop a working knowledge of the concepts used by any organization to perform effective root cause analysis and create lasting processes and product improvements in the workplace.

Supervising Others (TRAD): Supervising others can be a tough job. Between managing your own time and projects, helping your team members solve problems and complete tasks, and helping other supervisors, your day can fill up before you know it. The Supervising Others workshop will help supervisors become more efficient and proficient, with information on delegating, managing time, setting goals and expectations (for themselves and others), providing feedback, resolving conflict, and administering discipline.
