2021 Business Survey

As your local workforce training facility, it is important that we are providing our local manufacturing businesses with the training that fits their needs.  Please take a moment to complete this quick survey so that we can be sure we are right on track.  Complete survey here

The QVCC Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center is proud to help its industry partners develop the next generation of high-skill employees. The following workforce development courses are available for Spring 2022. All classes are 3 credits, $609 unless otherwise noted. Billing accounts available; contact us to learn more about creating accounts.

The below classes can be taken individually and do not require enrollment in the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Certificate or the Mechatronics: Automation Technician Certificate.  Appropriate credits earned can be applied to the certificates at a later date.

Industry partners are encouraged to learn more about both certificates by viewing our AMTC Certificates page, and to consider sending employees to the full certificate programs.

Workshop Development Courses: Spring 2022


Blueprint I                                        (2 credits: $437)

Safety in the Workplace              (1 credit: $264)
1 credit. 8 week course  includes OSHA card.

Mechatronics: Automation Technician course

Manufacturing Quality Control                                             

Parametric Design:  SolidWorks

Blueprint Reading II
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Blueprint I or Prior Learning Assessment.  

Manufacturing Math                                                                           

Digital Fundamentals
Mechatronics: Automation Technician course

Mechatronics: Automation Technician course.
Prerequisite: MFG 146, MFG143 and MFG 138 (can be taken concurrently)

CNC Maintenance & Repair
Mechatronics: Automation Technician course

Electronic Circuits & Devices
Mechatronics: Automation Technician course

Hydraulic & Pneumatics
Mechatronics: Automation Technician course
