SGA Presents: Paint Night with Tunk City Revival (Danielson Campus/Live Stream)

This event is only available to QVCC students who are registered for one or more classes during the Spring 2022 semester.

The Student Government Association and Tunk City Revival invites registered students at QVCC to join along for a  paint night! Students can participate in-person on the Danielson or Willimantic Campus or remotely via live-stream. Materials are provided free of charge. Maximum of 30 participants per event.

Live Stream: 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, March 4
Willimantic: 5:00-7:00pm on Monday, March 7

In-person students will receive their materials during the event and students joining remotely are responsible for picking up the free materials from Tunk City Revival at 100 Main Street, Danielson, CT (closed on Mondays).

Event sign ups end at 11:59pm on Thursday, March 3.

Black History Month – Live Discussion on Social Injustice with Rev. Maurice S. Porter

About Rev. Maurice S. Porter:
Born the heir of an opulent preaching legacy, Rev. Maurice S. Porter represents the fifth generation of Christian ministers in his family. Vastly becoming respected as an international hope agent, he is a husband, father, preacher, pastor, and friend to many. He is known for his oratorical excellence and practical approach to both biblical and societal matters consistently merging his spiritual convictions with his personal knowledge and experiences. He is formally educated in the best of universities and thoroughly experienced in the most diverse of contexts. Most notably, Maurice Porter is the Founder and Pastor of Impact Church located in Hartford, CT.

Think Fast! Cross-Campus Trivia Competition – Semi-Final Round

This is the 2nd of QVCC’s qualifying rounds to determine which student team will represent QVCC in the Final Round on Thursday, April 29, against teams from 8 other Connecticut Community College campuses. If you come out on top during the final round your team members each win $400 gift cards (totaling $800)!

Students must participate in the First Round on Thursday, April 15, to qualify for this Semi-Final Round!

Think Fast! Cross-Campus Trivia Competition – First Round

Ready for some friendly competition? Register for the Think Fast! Cross-Campus Trivia Competition for a chance to win up to $800 in prizes!

QVCC’s qualifying rounds include:

  • First Round on 4/15 @7:00PM
  • Semi-Final Round on 4/22 @ 6:00PM.

Teams move from the First Round to the Semi-Final Round to determine who will represent QVCC in the Final Round on Thursday, April 29, where you’ll compete against teams from 9 other Connecticut Community College campuses.

If you come out on top during the final round your team members each win $400 gift cards (totaling $800)!
