Bystander Training

Step Up. Speak Up. Take Action.

Each CSCU campus will implement the Bringing in the Bystander program with students this fall and spring. This workshop will review step-by-step the 90-minute student program and curriculum, as well as provide guidance and support for implementation.

Rather than focusing strictly on the roles of the perpetrator and victim, the highly interactive, researched and evaluated Bringing in the Bystander In-Person Prevention Program curriculum uses a community of responsibility approach. It teaches bystanders how to safely intervene in instances where an incident may be occurring or where there may be risk.

Students, faculty and staff are all welcome. Light refreshments will be provided.
