Major: Human Services
Reasons for choosing QVCC: I chose QVCC because its close to home, smaller school, and I liked the atmosphere when I came to an open house.
Favorite QVCC class: My favorite class so far was was English 102 with Dr. Jane Carey. Her teaching methods sparked a great deal of creativity in my writing and she inspired me to read again, something I have always enjoyed but had not done regularly in years.
Extracurricular: My extracurricular activities are metal detecting . I also volunteer at local community lunches when I’m available.
Goals: My goal is to become a drug and alcohol counselor and to help those struggling with addiction issues to live a full and useful life. To help others achieve their dreams is what I long to do.
Interests: US and Local History is something I am very interested in. I also enjoy metal detecting and think its a great hobby.
An interesting fact about me: An interesting fact about myself is I have been in nearly every state of the United States on a Harley Davidson. The only two I lack are North Dakota and Hawaii.
