Small Business, Big Reviews
Twin brothers Michael and David LaMothe (both class of ’09) have a knack for business and people, as well as a history of small business co-ownership, including a small business they ran while they were students at QVCC. After receiving their degrees, they continued their entrepreneurial efforts and now own a successful restaurant called Pizza Mike’s Pizzeria.
Michael and David have fond memories of their time as students—from their involvement in the National Honor Society to learning from guest speakers, as well as a surprise dual-degree for Mike at commencement. Today, they appreciate the supportive network they created on campus and the opportunity to give back to current business students.
They credit QVCC with providing the foundation they needed to succeed in business. Recently, their QVCC education gave the LaMothe brothers a unique advantage in their search to find an ideal location for their business. The property owner required new tenants to have both a business degree and small business experience. Thanks to QVCC, they met the requirements.
