It’s Scholarship Time!

College Debt

College can be expensive. Even if you qualify for financial aid, that doesn’t always cover all the costs that come with paying for school. This can deter students from even going to college or continuing their education because they feel they can’t pay for it. That’s where scholarships can help!

The QVCC Foundation gives out over $135,000 in scholarships every year. With over 100 individual scholarships, The Foundation helps students be able to afford their education. I have personally received two scholarships during my time at QV and that has made a huge difference for me. It has made it possible for me to get my education at a very low cost and I will graduate with NO STUDENT DEBT in May. This is a big deal for me – I will not have to worry about the burden of student loans before I get my Bachelors degree.

If this sounds like something that you are interested in, it’s really easy to apply! It will only take about an hour of your time and then you need to find 3 references who will write you a letter of recommendation. For more information and to complete the application go to, qvcc.edu/scholarships.
