What is a Brand Anyways?

2017 banner bearersOur brand is more than the way we look – it’s our promise to our students and community, and the core of who we are.

  • A brand is not a product, a logo, a tagline or a color. Although they are all important, they are only a part of your brand. A brand is a person’s initial reaction and feeling about a product, service or organization. Perception is reality, whether good or bad, so nurturing and protecting the brand of our College is integral to continued success.
  • A brand becomes great when it is personalized, embodied and shared by those who have experienced it; believe in it and are willing to champion the brand.
  • Our brand is a promise made to all groups who make up our community: students, faculty & staff, donors, community members and legislatures. By delivering messaging which embodies the core values and mission of QVCC, we can create awareness, and deliver relevance to the people who matter most to the college.
  • As a brand steward for QVCC, you are helping to ensure the future success of the college.
