General Studies — 2012
I chose QV because I wanted to save money while figuring out what to get my degree in. I accomplished both things! After graduating from QVCC, I took some time off and then transferred to Nichols College, where I received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing. It was at Nichols that I participated in an internship which landed me my first job—working at a digital marketing firm specializing in social media, search engine, and website development. In November I accepted a position at Idea Agency of Sturbridge MA, a creative advertising firm specializing in branding. If you’re thinking about QVCC, I highly recommend it. The college is welcoming, supportive, and budget-friendly. I see no value in going directly to a four-year school—community college is the way to go!
