Online and hybrid courses at Quinebaug Valley Community College utilize Blackboard for course communications, assignments, tests, projects, and grades. Your on-campus instructor will use Blackboard to post the course syllabus and grades and may also use Blackboard for study sheets, lecture notes, or use announcements or the calendar as reminders for assignments. Your instructor will inform you at the beginning of the semester how Blackboard will be used.
Blackboard student orientation sessions are held at the beginning of each semester. When you register for an online or hybrid course, you receive specific information related to that term’s sessions. If you cannot attend one of these sessions (held at both the Danielson campus and Windham Tech), please contact Pauline Clifford to schedule a one-on-one tutorial.
