Marc Archambault

Marc Archambault owner of Archambault Insurance Company is one of the longest standing board members on the QVCC Foundation.

Marc grew up in Putnam, CT and attended Pomfret Schools growing up. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. After receiving his degree he decided he wanted to continue with his family business, Archambault Insurance, and now continues to run the business with his brother.

Marc is very involved in the community. He was invited to join the QVCC Foundation in 1993 and stated the QVCC Foundation started his ambition to continue volunteering within the community. He is also the new President of the Putnam Rotary Club and continues to make our community a better place.

Marc strongly believes in QVCC Foundation’s mission which is why he continues to stay on the board. “QVCC is a community college that is a great resource for people in our community, people that will continue to live and work in the community and I feel it important to support that.”

Marc is also on many sub-committees within the foundation including the Tackle the Trail event the Foundation puts on every October. He loves how enthusiastic the event is and sees it continuing to grow every year and enjoys being a part of that.

“I, myself, just started running about 5 years ago and the Tackle the Trail event really inspires me to continue my exercise. I get a group of runners out here every year to participate in a relay team.”

The QVCC Foundation thanks Marc Archambault for his continuous dedication to the QVCC students.
