THE COST

Sierra Abate

“I faced great amounts of negativity when I decided to take a career path as a female in Advanced Manufacturing. To all that, I say, “watch me!” I have a burning fire in my heart to succeed as a machinist and am grateful for the support I received from The QVCC Foundation to make me dreams a reality.”

THE IMPACT

Charles Baird

“I started part-time at the Willimantic Center in 2011. Thanks to my instructors and support from The QVCC Foundation I was able to transition to a full-time student and complete two Associate’s Degrees with zero federal debt. I am now working towards my Bachelor’s in Data Science at Columbia University in NYC.”
