Associate of Science, Business Administration: Management Option

OVERVIEW

Strong leadership. It’s the hallmark of every successful business—regardless of industry.  It requires the ability to meet business problems head-on and adapt to business and technology trends. Managers make decisions, develop resources, set policies, take risks and motivate their co-workers and employees. Strong leadership starts with people who have the skills, education, and experience to guide the way.

The Management Option of the business administration major focuses on the functions of management in the business world, including organizational behavior and effective human resource management.  Credits from the management certificate programs can be put towards the degree.  This option prepares you for entry level jobs in the field and/or transfer to the Connecticut State Universities.  Some jobs in this field may require a bachelor’s degree.
